Pinup Beta

Guide & feedback

Installation, updates, removal, local-data cleanup, and issue reporting for the Beta. Before reporting, note the exact version and build number.

Beta noticeThis Beta is still being validated. Keep original copies of important files. Pinup currently requires macOS 14 or later on an Apple Silicon Mac.

Install

  1. Download the latest DMG from justpinup.com.
  2. Open it and drag Pinup into Applications.
  3. Open Pinup from Applications. The package is Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized.

Update

  1. When “Update” appears in the toolbar, open it to review the release notes.
  2. Select “Update and Relaunch” and let Pinup finish.
  3. Your boards remain intact. If it fails, the current version stays usable; restore connectivity or disk space and retry.

Uninstall & remove data

  1. Quit Pinup and drag it from Applications to the Trash.
  2. This leaves your boards intact. To remove all local data, in Finder choose Go → Go to Folder…, enter ~/Library/Application Support/PinUp, then move the entire PinUp folder to the Trash after confirming it is no longer needed.
  3. To remove preferences, go to ~/Library/Preferences and delete com.cyter.pinup.plist. This cannot be undone; back up anything you need first.

Export diagnostics

  1. Open Pinup Settings.
  2. Under Support, choose “Export Diagnostic Log…” and select a destination.
  3. Attach the TXT to your report. It excludes board text, images, License Keys, and account credentials.
